Stanford Dingley is a quiet village in Berkshire surrounded by woodland the River Pang flows through the middle of the village. The pretty Church of St Denys has a Norman Font, a 13th Century main door whilst the lovely white wooden bell tower is 15th Century. Donnington Castle is a Medieval wonder cloaked in history, the gatehouse dates back to 1386 Henry V111 and Elizabeth 1 both visited the castle. Or perhaps a visit to The Vyne, a stunning Tudor House with mellow red brick and diamond patterning, home to many treasures, set in delightful grounds with a lake .
