The Catania has 10 well equipped bedrooms over three floors. Our comfortable and relaxing bar area is the ideal place to sit and discuss your day or plan your next one with the help of our many local information guides and books, we have a selection of games available for children and a television. In our dining room our evening meals are available in the main season, either a three course meal for £12.50 or a plate of pasta or a pizza for £5 with a drink. Our breakfasts are normally served 8.30 to 9.00 but a different time can be arranged on request. If you don't want our full English, we have many other options but it helps if you let us know the night before then we can make sure we have the ingredients. We have travel cots and highchairs, please let us know in advance if you will need these, we do ask you to bring your own bedding for the little one. All of our bathrooms have a shower and toiletries, the bedrooms have hair dryer, clock radio, digital tv and hot drinks facilities. An iron and board are available, as are drying facilities for wet clothes and boots if you have been caught in the rain. Your key allows you 24 hour access. All the attractions of Scarborough are within a 15 - 20 minute walk, the museums and art gallery are well worth a visit, there are many small unusual shops as well as the usual high street stores. A trip to the harbour (the boat trips are very good value) is always worthwhile, and there are now many cafes and bars where you can watch the world go by. In the evening there are several theatres, two cinemas, many good restaurants bars and pubs. If you wish to venture further afield there are many attractions and we hold a good selection of information. Smoking is not permitted at all inside the building but we have two pleasant outdoor seating areas with ashtrays. We are sorry but we do not accept pets but we have a kennel in the yard if your dog would use that! Please ring to check availability.
