John and Jill Lakeman welcome you to Salisbury their home city; Our welcoming Bed and Breakfast is a recently refurbished family town house, perfectly situated for visits to the Cathedral (15 minutes walk), the City Centre (2 mins walk) with its wide range of shops, pubs, bars and restaurants, the Salisbury Playhouse, the Odeon cinema. Not to mention the house only being 100 yards from Salisbury Arts Centre. If you are travelling on foot you will also find we are within a short walk of the train station and bus station, where Stonehenge tours depart from on a daily basis. If time is short and you want to get to know Salisbury and its history, John will be delighted to give you a guided tour of Salisbury City Centre and Cathedral Close which lasts approximately one hour. It starts in Salisbury Market Square and ends at the historic Pheasant Inn, opposite Number 64.
