A delightful welcoming 18th century Country Inn set in the heart of Kent, close to the tudor village of Chiddingstone You will receive a warm reception when visiting our bar and restaurant which has an excellent reputation in the area. The spacious bar and restaurant serves food and drink throughout the day during the summmer and from 12 - 3pm then 7pm - 9pm Autumn, Winter & Spring months.
The traditional characteristics of the bar and non-smoking restaurant are complimented with a modern twist. Alternatively, enjoy the Kent countryside on the pretty patio, with hanging baskets, at the side of the Inn, in the Courtyard or the vast expanse of garden, seating 200. The Little Brown Jug also offers a function/meeting room with equipment.
The local Penshurst Vineyards 12 acres of established vineyards and modern winery, tasting rooms and shop, are amongst a multitude of local attractions, including Penshurst Place, Chartwell the former home of Winston Churchill and Hever Castle. You are truly in the heart of Kent.
