Gees is housed in the most attractive of settings - A Victorian glasshouse and erstwhile florist's shop. This is a unique place to eat -light airy romantic and sophisticated and rightly attracts a wide range of diners - Students, celebs, families, and business diners. The cuisine is Modern British/European and there is a good sized - but not too large menu. What's Cooking? Baby Beetroot marinaded and roasted with crisp sage and toasted cashew nuts;Seared wild sea trout with a new potato, radish and mustard salad;Roasted Breast of Black Leg Chicken with sage pesto, fresh borlotti beans and tomato dressing;Chargrilled Veal cutlet with homemade chips and Gee's Red Wine Mustard.
