A large site in the Soar valley, next to the river with plenty of space for camping and touring caravans as well as holiday statics, boat moorings and fishing. Very basic facilities, but plenty of space to relax and enjoy the Leicestershire countryside. From the entrance of the site it is a short (3-4 minute) walk to the centre of Barrow which has a selection of shops, pubs, takeways, a super market and a library. Touring or camping pitches with electric hookups are provided near to the entrance with easy access to the village of Barrow upon Soar. For the more hardy there is the opportunity to set up in the fields away from the services, but amongst the wildlife. The site also has its own fishing lake which is open year round
