St Mary‚s Hall is an independent day and boarding school for girls from 3 -18. Located in Brighton St Mary‚s Hall was founded in 1836 and is one of England‚s oldest private schools for girls. St Mary‚s Hall is situated in attractive grounds, in easy reach of Brighton‚s historic centre and overlooks the sea.
A wide range of subjects is on offer throughout the school at GCSE and A Level and each pupil‚s programme is carefully monitored to suit the individual. There are many extra-curricular opportunities, which aim to give every pupil a chance to Œshine‚ in some respect with activities ranging from sport to the arts.
There are two modern boarding house for girls from 8 - 18. Our Senior and Sixth Form boarders are primarily housed in single study bedrooms close to individual shower rooms.
Facilities include an indoor 25-metre swimming pool; netball and tennis courts; laboratories; libraries; the Art House includes two pottery kilns and a darkroom: a studio theatre and a School Chapel. There are two design-technology rooms and two ICT suites. The modern Sixth Form Centre provides an attractive, spacious common room, a Study and IT area, a coffee bar and a wireless network system providing internet and intranet access.
