A non-selective co-educational independent school for both local and expatriate students aged 2-18 years. It is accredited to offer all three programmes of the International Baccalaureate. The principal aim of the school is to encourage each student to develop both as an individual and as a responsible member of the community. At Woodside Park International School we recognise that as well as high academic achievement a variety of learning styles exist and the Quest programme allows those who need extra help to fullfil their learning potential. The school has been accredited by CreSTeD and this means that our teaching of dyslexic pupils has been inspected and approved.
During term time trips to Normandy are organised for year 6 and older students attend Model United Nations exercises in The Hague and for example Bratislava. Skiing trips are also organised during the Easter holidays. Art, drama and music are also taught and productions are staged in the newly equipped hall. There is a school orchestra and choir and a wide range of extra-curricular activities and a homework club. Soccer, cricket, hockey, netball, basketball, swimming, tennis, athletics and cross-country are the principal sports. The school has its own sports ground with good facilities. Matches are arranged with other local and international schools and the school has an excellent games record.
