This popular site and has a mixture of pitches for touring vans and
large static vans. Outstanding views looking over the River Scaur and the
Nith Valley.
Situated within easy walking distance from the centre of Penpont Village
which lies about 2 miles west of Thornhill on the A702. When travelling
from Dumfries, do not turn off the A76 before Thornhill if you are towing a
caravan or trailer.
Pets Welcome, but dogs must be kept on the lead at all times. There is a
good exercise area by the river. Large Vans for hire.
