Situated just inside Snowdonia National Park, five minutes drive from the historic walled town Conwy and 1/2 mile from the picturesque village of Rowen you will find Glyn Isa Country House bed and breakfast. This elegant house is set at against a backdrop of mountains, within 10 acres of private mature grounds and land and commands beautiful views over the Conwy valley. The building dates back as far as 1626 - one of the oldest properties in the area - the majority of the house being Georgian. It has a wealth of charm and is full of history, with ingle nook fireplaces, four poster beds and lovely antiques, and has been lovingly restored by the present owners.

Glyn Isa is well positioned to explore all of North Wales. It is just 5 minutes drive from the coast and Conwy and 10 minutes from Llandudno, where you will find a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants, wine bars and a theatre - there is even a dry ski slope and toboggan run if you're feeling adventurous!!

There are at least four historic castles in the area, Conwy, Caernarfon, Penrhyn and Beaumaris and less than one hour away is Mount Snowdon. There are good train and motorway links to all areas of the UK, plus sea links to Dublin. Manchester International Airport and Liverpool Airport are only 75 minutes drive away.

Glyn Isa also offers many leisure facilities, including fishing, horse riding (locally), walking, golf ( there are 3 lovely courses nearby) and less than 1 mile away , the oldest Inn in North Wales serving the finest home cooked food and excellent wines (Egon Ronay best pub ).

So whether you want to relax in our lovely gardens, visit one of Wales's many castles, play a round of golf or simply explore the area, Glyn Isa has something to offer everyone
