The Queens Head in Rothbury is a family run Inn with seven comfortable en-suite rooms, great food, a friendly relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff. Open every day 12-3pm for lunch and 6-30 – 9pm for Dinner. The Bar is open all day, and there is a comfortable Restaurant all on the ground floor, menus and prices are the same whether you eat in the Bar or Restaurant. Menus range from traditional pub fayre to more modern British and European dishes with prices to suit all.

There is a lounge on the first floor for residents, a patio garden and a free private car park. Every month (except December) we host a live music evening with Rothbury Roots featuring the best in acoustic music, and in the winter months once a month we host the Rothbury Accordian Club who welcome visitors.

We can help to arrange a large variety of activities including fishing, golf, shooting, walking and cycling (we have storage facilities for bikes). The new Garden at Alnwick Castle is only a 20 minute drive away and we can provide discounted combined tickets for the Castle and Garden. Cragside House and gardens are a short walk or a two minute drive. We can cater for parties and functions and we pride ourselves on the quality of our food and service.
