Welcome to one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. The Isle of Mull is a beautiful island with fantastic scenery: white sandy beaches, dramatic mountains, villages steeped in history, spectacular costal cliffs and an abundance of wildlife.

The autumn to winter period is a fantastic time to visit Mull. The tranquility of the island at this time of year makes it a great time to observe the wildlife and enjoy the remote feel of this Scottish island. You certainly won't be short of things to do. Take whale watching trips, wildlife safari tours, go fishing, mountain walking or take a boat trip to one of the many islands around Mull including Iona, Staffa and Ulva.

The Auchnacraig Estate is a farming estate on a 4,000-acre peninsula bordering the shores of Loch Don, Loch Spelve and The Firth of Lorne just ten minutes drive south-west of the car-ferry terminal at Craignure. Much of the Estate is a site of Special Scientific Interest due to its diverse geological composition and its woodlands; and it has magnificent views in every direction - particularly towards the mainland where Ben Nevis is visible 40 miles away.Red deer, wild goats, seals and eagles are regularly seen. The Estate has many miles of coastline to explore with a lovely beach at Port Donain and a smaller one at Grasspoint, a large freshwater Loch and fishing on the Estate for sea and brown trout can be booked by the day.
