Steeped in intriguing history, the setting is a magnificent private Estate, a place of tranquillity and timeless elegance yet only 45 minutes from central London.

The Brocket Hall Estate boasts an exquisite 18th century manor house, two of the finest Championship golf courses in the South of England, luxurious accommodation in Melbourne Lodge, the first Faldo Golf Institute in Europe together with an outstanding restaurant Auberge du Lac situated beside the Broadwater Lake with stunning views over the Estate.

The names of the two golf courses at Brocket Hall Golf Club give an insight into the rich history of this exclusive club in London’s stockbroker belt. The Palmerston and the Melbourne are named after the two prime ministers who made the famous old Hall their home in the 19th century.

The Melbourne Course was designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark. The course follows the natural undulations and contours of the 18th century parkland surrounding the stately home, concluding on the signature 18th with a trip across the Broadwater on the unique golfers’ ferry. The Palmerston course was designed by renowned architect Donald Steel and wends its way through mature woodland. A great test of golf on some of the most beautiful holes in Southern England.

Visitors are welcome on the golf courses and group bookings can be accommodated. The clubhouse is a beautifully restored 18th century building with guest rooms and conference rooms of its own, as well as a restaurant, billiard room and banqueting hall catering for both corporate and private events.

Brocket Hall is one of England’s most prestigious and beautiful stately homes available for corporate and private events to include weddings, offered on an exclusive use basis only, ensuring privacy and security for all its guests, with traditional English butler service.

Brocket Hall prides itself on standards of excellence. No less than you would expect from somewhere that has entertained kings and queens, presidents and prime ministers for over 300 years.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Estate…
