Holiday Homes and Lodges For Sale. Seasonal and Visting Touring Caravans Moterhomes, Folding Campers, Trailer Tents and Small Tents welcome to camp. homepage.mac.com/henstent.

Henstent Caravan & Touring Park is a small, peaceful, family run site which occupies a spectacular elevated position in the Tanat Valley on the fringe of the Berwyn mountain range, which provides a stunning backdrop and superb views. Located in Llangynog Powys. To the North of Mid Wales, just over the Shropshire England border and on the outer edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

There is fishing on the river Tanat, which forms one boundary of the Park, as well as bird watching and stargazing. Locally there are good walks and climbing to suit all levels of fitness and, for the more active, mountain-biking opportunities.

The friendly village of Llangynog (Llan-gun-og) is only five minutes walk and has two excellent inns, both serving good quality, value-for-money meals.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead. A riverside dog walk is provided. Sorry, no dogs allowed inside our separate tent campsite.

The Park is situated on the B4391, 18 miles west of Oswestry, on the Llanfyllin to Bala road - click the link below for a printable map. It is easily accessible from Birmingham, Coventry, Manchester, the Potteries and Liverpool. Map Ref 125:060260.

Our facilities include a heated shower block with hot showers and flush toilets; chemical toilet disposal; laundry room with washing, drying and ironing facilities; hairdryer; dish-washing facility; telephone; electric hook-ups (no generators allowed); Tourist information; loan of local maps; library/book exchange.
