Set midway between Filey's lovely sandy beaches (6 miles) and Scarborough's many seaside attractions, including sea life centre, flume pool and famous 'theatre in the round', it offers a great location for exploring the Yorkshire coast – Bridlington, Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby all lie within easy reach.
Touring the Yorkshire Wolds and Moors is a delight in itself, and Flamingo Land theme park, Eden Camp and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway in Pickering are about 20 miles, whilst the city of York's Minster and fine museums are a 35 mile drive.
