n a peaceful location within 3 miles of clean sandy beaches and glittering attractions of Torquay, and just 1 mile from Dainton Park Golf and Health Club, this delightful and lovingly restored early 16th century cottage retains many of the original features of that period. Adjoining the owners' home in a quiet hamlet on a 'no through road', it overlooks its own secluded garden with ornamental pond. A 'fun' tennis court is available in the owners' walled garden, and in the prettyflower filled parking area at the rear of the property shared with Fisher's Barn, is a small aviary housing cockatiels and budgerigars. There is excellent shopping at Newton Abbott (3 miles). Windsurfing and waterskiing on the River Teign, walking and riding on Dartmoor and nostalgic rides on the Dart Valley steam train are all nearby whilst the Eden Project is within 1½ hour's drive. There are four good pubs serving food within 2 miles. Nearest shop ½ mile.
