The IBM Hursley Karate Club practises shotokan karate in a very
friendly environment, with members ranging from novices to black belts,
children and adults. New members are very welcome - you do not have to be an
IBM employee to join.
Some people practise karate as an art form, some as a sport, some for
self-defence and some just for exercise. However you view it, it's good for
you and it's fun!
Sessions are Mondays and Thursdays, 5:30 - 7 pm, and Wednesday lunchtimes.
Prices are very competitive - just a couple of pounds per session, plus an
annual membership fee of a few pounds.
Your first two sessions are free, so there is no commitment up front - all
you need to have a go is some comfortable clothes.
