This pretty Sussex village between the seaside resort of Worthing and Littlehampton, close by is Angmering on Sea with it’s unspoilt coastline. This village is pleasing both to the eye and the soul, the village square has charm, with buildings close by dating back to the 14th 16th and 18th century, The monthly Market is definitely well worth a visit. Not far from Angmering is the stunning Arundel Castle, if you can tear your self away from the Castle and it’s grounds the old streets with antique shops will hold you captive, why not try the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust also in Arundel (take your camera). An enjoyable day at the Races is possible, with Fontwell Race Park, if you take a picnic and the sunshine you will definitely be a winner. For those who like walking or horse riding why not visit High Down Hill, a definite beauty spot (on a clear day) and weather permitting the delightful views of The Seven Sisters and even The Isle Of Wight, and Cissbury Ring which is the largest Hill Fort can be seen.. The rural charm of Angmering and it’s neighbouring delights is a gift waiting to be unwrapped.
