1812 - 1852. English architect


Trained in father’s architectural office in London. Designed and modelled much of the decorations and sculpture for the Houses of Parliament. Designed several Roman Catholic Churches including Birmingham cathedral and St Oswald’s, Liverpool. Did much to revive Gothic architecture in England.
