Studied as law student while writing poems and painting. Works include London Study (1969), a piece of fibreglass pavement left for 17 years to gather real dust. Represented Great Britain at 1978 Venice Biennale. Later work includes use of concrete, broken glass and rusting metal. His partner and two children exhibit as the Boyle Family.
