A British Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, better known as ‘Mike the Bike’. He first started racing in 1957 and by 1961 was racing for Japanese upstarts Honda, and won the 250cc World Championship the same year. He is best known for his accomplishments at the renowned Isle of Man TT, winning 12 times. He was also a respected Formula One racing driver.
