Born 1750 in Hanover, Germany. Died 1848 - British astronomer.


A British astronomer, she collaborated with her brother William Hreschel. In 1783 she discovered the companion of the Andromeda nebula, and between 1786-1797 she discovered eight comets. Her Index to Flamsteed’s Observations of The Fixed Stars and a list of errata were published in 1798.
