Born 1906. Died 1988 - English artist and illustrator.

Studied at the Royal Academy Schools and the London School of Photo Engraving and Lithography. First commissioned illustration was to engrave the title page of her brother, Christopher Hassallís book of poems, Devilís Dyke. Has illustrated many of the English literary classics. Awarded an OBE in 1987.
