Lovejoy started his broadcasting career as a VJ with music station MTV, but his subsequent career has centred on sport and ‘lifestyle’ programmes rather than music. He is probably most well-known for his stint of more than 10 years on Sky’s Soccer AM, and for two shows which revolve primarily around food topics, Sunday Brunch and Something for the Weekend. In 2013 he returned to a prominent role in sports television on BTTV’s Sports Panel
