English adventurer, writer and television presenter.

Born Edward Michael Grylls he is best known for his television series Born Survivor. His expeditions include conquering Mount Everest at the age of 23, Crossing the North Atlantic in an open rigid inflatable boat, paramotoring over the Himalayas, and rowing naked in a bath tub along the Thames. In July 2009, Grylls was appointed the youngest ever Chief Scout at the age of 35.
