Died on 26th of December 1800

Born 1757. Died 1800 - English actress, poet and novelist.

Played Perdita and other Shakespearian roles at Drury Lane. Mistress of future George IV. Wrote Sappho and Phaon (1796) and Lyrical Tales (1800), two plays and several novels. Died in poverty.
