Hundreds of exciting exhibits from across the modelling spectrum, from model boats, cars and planes, to live steam and electric model railways, and even rocketry.

The event's organisers are encouraging hobbyists from all modelling and engineering backgrounds to attend the event, which showcases the cream of UK model making exhibitors from around the country, and is the largest of its kind for modellers in the North West of England.

Visitors young and old will be able to enjoy a range of exciting demonstrations from the 40 modelling clubs and associations that attend the show.

The first ever Northern Modelling Exhibition ran from Friday 2 March to Sunday 4 March in 2012 and saw 7,500 visitors travelling to EventCity.

Its sister event, the London Modelling Exhibition is known as the South's largest modelling and model engineering exhibitions, attracting 15,000 visitors annually.
