Review of Alston by Lesley Mearns on March 28th, 2006
Alston is a lovely town situated in beautiful countryside. It is ideal for people with interests in walking, bird-watching and just enjoying wonderful views.
The locals are friendly and hostpitable.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered. - George Best
