Chapmans Well, Devon

Review of Chapmans Well by vivienne morgan on June 28th, 2006
We have had our tourer pitched at this camp for the second year. The camping part has only recently been developed by the owners George and Danielle, the other field houses all the static caravans. As far as friendly and helpful go you could not get better attention at a 5 star park. The amenities at the moment are very old but so clean, a new modern shower and toilet block will be finished by the end of June -middle of July and a site bar -lounge childrens play area should be finished the same time. The Laundry has the best washing machines I have seen on any camp, clean clothes just like home. The camp is host to loads of wild life including Pheasents and wild ducks that are a permanent fixture and love being fed. Danielle has a few horses and donkeys at the time of writing this 'June 06' one of donkeys is due to give birth,WELL, it has been holding on since August last year , we have been told that they can hold out for 15 months almost that now. The camp shop is very well stocked and you can also order FRESH meat in from the local farm. I could go on and on but you should try this your selves they have seasonal pitches so you need not tow your van just leave it sited and enjoy a good well deserved rest.
