my family stayed in the village of dolwyddelan for 9 days at a lovelly cottage - april 2010 - i didnt want to go home - it was so peacefull - we come from south east london and all i can say is - how lucky are welsh people to have such a fantastic country! - i have no complaints just praise - we were made feel very welcome by everybody! the local shop even passers by! the views and lanscape just leaves you speechless! we have already booked to come back again this year - and cant wait - there is so much to do locally and further out - the walks are stunning as are the drives! the silence is actually golden and well what else can i say but you HAVE to come yourself to see what i mean! lisa x
