Ramsey, Isle of Man
Review of Ramsey by eddie redhead on October 17th, 2007
Although I have not been in Ramsey since I left the R.A.F. IN jURBY in 1953-54 I remember the town well. Watching the T.T.. races, dancing in the ballroom on Saturday nights after a pint in the square and the cinema. Some of the locals who worked on the base in my department were a Mr Corkhill and a Mr Clegg who used to hair for the chaps. The town ,its people and the great scenery will live with me for ever .
I went into the business for the money, and the art grew out of it. If people are disillusioned by that remark, I can't help it. It's the truth. - Charlie Chaplin
