Oxfordshire Reports

Weston on the Green, Oxfordshire

Review of Weston on the Green by Allen Everington on November 21st, 2009
Weston is a charming village set a little way from most traffic though some motorists use the road through the village as a short cut between major roads and travel at excessive speeds. The Chequers is an old world type pub/restaurant serving interesting meals and drinks at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit rather than be subjected to other nearby, motorway service station type eateries.

The dread of evil is a much more forcible principle of human actions than the prospect of good. - John Locke
