Good Points: quiet, peaceful, where we stay for our anniversary every 5 years.
Bad Points: could do with someone to help with cases etc

General review: As well as the experience of staying in a large country manor with acres of open grounds, the four poster room I booked was breathtaking in its size (room 9). The resident's lounge was a treat too. We had gone away for a quiet couple of days where we could laze about, and to sit in the lounge with a book, nod-off and then wake to afternoon tea was perfect. Do try their marmite and cucumber sandwiches - marvellous. p>Date visited: 2007-10-21
