I took my 3 children along to The Hop Farm today during Halloween Half Term, I was quite open minded even after reading the recent reviews as I have been there before a couple of years ago. They had everything open and as it was half term you could join in with the themed activities if you wanted to and we did for some of the day. These included apple bobbing, magic shows and the Torture Cellar LIVE, this was fantastic and very scary. Everything has changed so much since my last visit and I feel it is a change for the better. You can buy your tickets online for extra savings and there are only a couple of additional costs which we were informed of when we arrived – pottery centre and food & drink. Thank you to all the staff that kept myself and the kids entertained all day long. A great day out and well worth a look!!

This is a glorified playground that charges the earth. Once in you also need to pay extra for other amusements. The food is appalling quality and very expensive. The whole place needs a face-lift. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful and have a 'couldn't care-less' attitude. Don't even bother to complain as the management don't care.
