I read the other review and was suprised.... we go here all the time, 4 times actually and we love it.
Maybe for the walk and museum it isn't the best... but camping is amazing!! It is not overfilled, and you sleep next to the Wallabies, and there is a wook full of bluebells. If you like to go back in time and visit an old farmhouse (including the lazy ginger tom sunning itself in the drive) then this is the place to go. The owners are lovely and the facilities are great. On top of all that there was room for my son to run in a safe environment, and it was reasonably priced. 5 STARS

We did not camp but visited with a group of 6 children and 3 adults. All children being, what we consider, pretty well-behaved. They were shouted at by the bumptious owner of one of the cottages and perhaps some of the land, to get off the flowers. At this point in time they were actually treading on some weeds by a wall - we were absolutely open mouthed and the kids pretty upset. Also the payment to see the "museum" area is a total ripoff DO NOT BOTHER! The walk is nice enough but not really worth paying for - you can have as much fun in a park. All in all really really disappointing for somewhere supposed to be child friendly etc. It needs a big overhaul and update. Thanks for reading this.
