Had heard lots of positives about this place so could not have been more dissapointed. Visited whilst on holiday in Porthcurno, after a day of walking so suitably hungry. Still managed to both leave the majority of our meals. Not even average by pub meals standard, the soup, allegedly carrot, was more akin to tasteless water, the lasagne was burnt, grissly and pretty rancid really - ham eggs and chips also very poor. Staff friendly enought but the quality of food from a pub that prides itself so highly on all the awards it has received was probably the worst pub meal we have ever had. Dissapointed.

Having visited Treen for nearly 8 years, and had many a supper in the Logan Rock Inn, my husband and I have never had a bad experience at this pub. The food is good pub grub, though not cheap, and the bar and kitchen staff friendly and helpful. They keep local beers and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We're looking forward to our next visit!

My party of 4 grandparents, 4 parents, 4 children and a baby visited this pub as they advertised 'families welcome'. This could not be further from the truth. We sat in an area away from the bar on our own. The minute my 5 week old baby had the audacity to cry for his milk we were rudely asked to leave. When we questioned this request a young male from behind the bar came over and threatened one of the grandparents with violence. A female member of staff was one of the most spiteful, nasty, ill mannered people I have ever met. We visited many pubs in Cornwall during our weeks stay and were overwhelmed at the friendly, acomodating welcome we received. The staff at this pub had all the charm of a pit bull terrier. On the subject of dogs the ones at this pub seemed to roam around the area of the kitchen freely. Be warned,do NOT use this establishment. Especially if your party includes a baby that has the bare faced cheek to utter a word. Please learn from our mistake ladies and gents.....
