I met 3 business associates here, after being told this was the only seafood restaurant in Cheltenham. Wines very good and not overpriced. we had four different meals, all three course. I can only say faultless, this place will soon be long booking only. We will all return without a shadow of doubt.

Reasonable prices for the excellent quailty of food served! Drinks were fairly cheap and the food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. Would definatly recommend this to people searching for a clean resturant with high food standards. Bravo!

I heard from a colegue at work that the palce had been taken over and refurbished, so four of us went for an evening meal, in early may 2007. The decor new and clean, the food was stunningly good, the service excellent, and the wine list unequalled. The prices were very reasonable indeed. I will return with my wife and children one week end to sample the lunches in the spacious beer gardens. Wholeheatedly recommended.

Twenty one of us sat down to Sunday lunch at the Little Owl to celebrate Aunt Kay's 94th birthday. We had a choice of two good starters; then an excellent plate of lamb and fresh veg, a choice of three puds with cream - all yummy- and then cheese. The cheese was left on the table for us to finish.Eight bottles of wine.Coffee and mints. Service so discreet we didn't realise it was happening. Cost less than £18 a head.Excellent.Can recommend.New owners since autumn 05.Three good real ales and even piped music in the gents!

Drinks were cheap but the food is very over-priced. I found the elderly female manager very rude and unpleasant. The staff were friendly and service was efficient. I would return for a drink provided that the above mentioned manager was not present. I found far better places in and around Charlton Kings to eat at.
