Always a delight to visit, whether with friends or our students. Such a lovely village too! We will be coming back with our adult students on Sunday 19 October - look forward to seeing you then and enjoying a pint or two of your fine ales.

The first thing that struck us, as we walked into the inn, was the friendliness of all the staff. We ate in the restaurant and were delighted by the plethora of fresh flowers. There was a great choice of food and it was served quickly, despite the inn being busy. My husband's steak was perfection and the vegetables beautifully al dente. My smoked haddock fishcakes melted in the mouth. The staff was attentive, polite and helpful. Wild horses won't keep us away now.
