I found this venue very welcoming, amazing how many pub/retaurants fail to do this.
Wide ranging menu. I picked the chicken strips, which were hot and tasty. I followed this with fish and chips which I have to say were very disappointing; The batter was bland and I debate whether it came out of a bag; I am sure the chips had been recycled the poor bit of salad that accompanied was disappointing. My guest had steak & mushroom pie > far more mushrooms than steak with a very thick gravy!
Nevertheless, the service was excellent, but unfortunately it did not make up for the disappointing food.Not value for money
