it was my first visit to hanley and the market and at first was very impressed, however after talking to several traders i couldnt believe how much rent they were being charged for such small stalls and high energy prices on top. the stallholders were saying how much lack of investment they have seen which could make it the best market in the country
so where does all this money go?
apparentley to social services, which is disgusting. shame on you stoke-on-trent city council you have a loverly market and should be proud of it, instead of letting it become run down with lack of investment, which is typical of local councils
