My friend and I happened to stop in Pembridge and visited The Old steppes Shop and Tearoom what a find! We had the most delicious scones and cream we have had for a very long time. The staff were delightful and made us feel so welcome and we commented at the time how much we had enjoyed it. We had been going to go on and have a meal that evening but we both felt too full after that delicious tea. We will most definitely be going back next time we are in the area.
