Overall a good public house, but i felt it was more of a community pub when was run by the australian bloke last year. Is now going for a sort of lounge/boutique upmarket feel, and trying to pull in punters from all around, hence the locals no longer going there. Still a nice pub in a good spot though. Those aussies know how to run a bar !!!

New Ownership, new crew on board, new chef, new menu and plenty of beer to choose from plus a good choice of spirits. Visited the Blacksmiths Arms with the intention of just having a drink. Was impressed with the pleasant warm atmosphere. Spied a chap eating a roast dinner...it looked good enough to eat. We both oredered a meal and were totally delighted. The new owners are doing a grand job of getting this public house back on its feet to make it the centre of the community of Ravensden. Give it a try its worth it.
Good luck to you all at the Blacksmiths Arms
