Terrible "welcome" by the woman behind the bar - quite obviously a "Local" pub. Would not recommend.

This pub has improved immensely since it's £150,000 renovation. There are 10 (Yes ten) ales on tap and a good selection of lagers and bottled beers (If you like that kind of thing!). The food is simple and pleasant, like the decor. Folk music and singing is on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
