First time visit to this pub for a ladies lunch. Nice place with a good feel to it. Varied menu and when the food came it was good. I had three courses plus coffee and it came to less than £15. My lunch companions also seemed pleased with their food. Service was good and brought with a smile. Overall, very pleased with the Green Man and will go back again.

Visited The Green Man for dinner and received a very friendly welcome. The pub is very old with all its original beams, it has a lovely atmostphere with a different mixure of people of all ages. The menu has a very wide choice and a special board and a seperate steak board which we noticed all the meat is sourced locally which makes a nice change. We chose a sharing platter which was very large and very good value for money. We then had lasagne and a king prawn thai curry which was the best thai curry i have had in a very long time, you could tell that everything is homemade which is very rare to find these days. The service was very friendly and they also checked back to see if everything was ok with our meals. We then shared a homemade bakewell tart with icecream which was to die for!! I was also pleased to see that the toilets were of a very high standard as i think this speaks volumes of a well kept pub.We saw advertised that there was a real ale festival, live music and hog roast so decided to go back and join in.It was proberly one of the best Bank holiday things we have been to.We are so please we have found this pub and will be using it on a very regular basis.
