As you sweep up the drive to the Headland (which is in name and in position) you would be forgiven for feeling you have taken a step back to the twenties. The best hotel in Newquay by far the hotel had all the facilities required to keep our 12 and 4 year old boys amused. We didnt eat in the restaurant (though given the fayre on offer in Newquay itself we wish we had) but we had several nice lunches in their brasserie (or rather on the sun kissed terrace). The best bit is the beach (and its closeness) and the many activites for the kids. This tired them out and gave us some time alone for which we were happy to pay a premium. 7.5/10
