"Navy Days is great for all the family. You can go on all the ships and if you are luck, you can even go down into a submarine. There are plenty of bands playing through the day. Lots of food stalls and fun stalls for the children. One stall even sells these strange coloured socks, which are really nice. Also there are displays from ships firing and then the helicopters arrive and the men go down the rope and board the ship in mock display. Excellent day, although you really need 2 days to see everything"
