We have wanted to try this pub for a long time but it is always so busy.We managed to get in , and what a wonderful surprise. Warm, friendly, cheerful and a great menu too. Home made food served deliciously hot and very tasty, although I was full I was tempted by apple crumble and custard. It was scrumptious. Definitely visit again soon. My Husband said it was the best rabbit stew he'd ever had out.

THE HERMIT INN at BURLEY WOODHEAD The most charming and delightful old pub. We were so impressed by the wonderful welcome we received from the new landlord and landlady - Keith and Lynne Hutton. The menu was superb and ALL the food is freshly cooked, such a change this day and age! There was also a vast selection of traditional ales. We went back the next day for another lunch it was so excellent. Cannot recommend this hostelry enough - if you are in West Yorkshire near Ilkley Moor GO THERE, you will get a really good welcome and will dine like a king!
