Good Points: Not corporate, idiosyncratic Bad Points: poor bathroom fittings - shower not working properly - decor etc. a bit tired. Breakfast extra, which I find annoying and will buy my own. General review: Good to stay in a non-corporate place - staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel is of poor quality, the rooms are small. The bedspread was ripped, light shades were missing and the fitting bent. The trouser press had loose wires and during our three day stay the fire alarm went off each night anywhere between 5:00am and 7:30am. Complained to staff (appeared to be student labour) but never got to see manager - not worth the money. Would have moved Hotel but at short notice everywhere was booked up.

Don't be fooled by the website! This really is a very second rate hotel- very shabby room and grubby carpets throughout-we chose not to stay in spite of having paid a deposit.Alarm bells rang when we were asked to pay in full up front before we had even seen the room!
