This was meant to be a special day for my friend and I.She has been struggling with cancer for three years. On a normal meeting I would go to Bognor simply becauce she,s to sick to travel,We decided to meet half way at this wonderful eating place. On arrival they requested to know if we,d booked a table, appariently they can seldom book anyone in on a Sunday. It was a result they had a table or so I thought. We struggled thruogh the starter thinking things could only get better. When the main course arrived it was evident it was yesterdays vegatables. Two of us had salmon and this was freshly cooked but the carrot and mashed potato ,when we found it left a lot to be desired. The rest of the group had roast beef and I,m talking guys who like there beef rare.when they munched through the gristle it became apparient it was totally unedable and warranted complaint. This required some sort of explaination from the Chef, you guessed there was no chef. The young waitress working there did her best to defuse the situation,ha I,d hire the girl myself if I could. On leaving we met some locals who informed they never eat there, one said just look you were the only people in there on a Sunday, yes it speaks for itself. You have been warned .
