Good Points: Great location. Friendly atmosphere, comfortable lounge. The rooms that have been refurbished are lovely. Bad Points: One of our rooms, 206, was gloomy: it was cold and the TV didn't work properly. Service was a bit slow sometimes, in the bar and restaurant. General review: We would like to have known that the car parking was limited, because it was disappointing to have to park the car on the street and then move it in the morning to avoid parking fines, particularly as we'd rung up beforehand to check about the parking. Also access was difficult during the day because there was a street market outside the hotel and the road was closed off. The hotel could have let us know this is advance. But overall, we really liked the hotel and would go back. The girl on reception was really pleasant and efficient.
